Book Fair Thank You 

 

The Brown PTO and I would like to thank all of the wonderful volunteers, students, family members, and staff who took part in our “Luau: A Reading Celebration” Scholastic Book fair for Spring, 2012. We sold $9,117.96 worth of books and items at our fair!!! What a great amount of wonderful books going into our children’s hands. From the book fair profits, the PTO donated $1100.18 worth of books to students, volunteers, the library, and to the classrooms. We also had many families and students donate directly to the classrooms from our Classroom Wish List Program. Thank you!!! Also, thank you for sending in your loose change and dollar bills for the One for Books program. We collected $63.41 which was donated in books to the library for all the students to enjoy. Brown PTO earned $2278.17 in cash profit to be used towards PTO school events. We hope that you enjoyed having Lunch with Someone You Love and also shopping during our Family Movie Night Event.

 

Thank you to all of our wonderful parent volunteers! I personally appreciate all of the help that you gave to the school as well as to myself to make this fair such a successful event. Our school could not continually have successful book fairs without all of your support.
